About the Top 100 Singles Chart

How is the chart compiled?
Our chart is based on iTunes sales date, it constantly shows the top 100 most popular songs downloaded from Apple iTunes store.

How often is the chart updates?
Apple updates the chart roughly every one to four hours.

How can I download a song?
In order to download songs from this website you need to have iTunes installed on your computer.  Beneath each song is a download icon, clicking this icon will take you to the iTunes store where the song can be downloaded.

Is this the official UK chart?
The Hot 100 Australia chart is an official chart, but not the official chart.  When people talk about the "official chart", they are usually talking about the top 40 which is compiled from digital and physical sales data - this is not that chart.  Our chart is compiled exclusively from iTunes download sale.  It is a rolling chart and has no weekly cut-off point as the official chart has.
